And That's A Wrap!

Wow! This past weekend was such a blast! Every year I play host to a local Scott Kelby World Wide Photowalk and this year I held mine in Lansing, the state Capitol of Michigan. And as in the past, I was lucky enough to have some awesome companies sponsor this was with free gifts and some awesome prizes. My favorite company Olympus Imaging donated TWO cameras to be given away at the event, as well as giving EVERY attendee a free hat. They even shipped in 8 test drive camera kits that were loaned out to people interested in the Olympus line of micro 4/3 cameras. But I can't forget the cool folks over at BorrowLenses.com donated TWO $150 gift certificates for gear rentals, as well as several t-shirts, and lots of stickers and magnets!
It was incredible!

Turnout was great with 56 people making it for the event, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I had the opportunity to socialize and shoot with a lot of great people. I love the event so much I am starting to plan another one separate from the Kelby event for this spring!!

Below are a few photos taken from my walk..... If you get the chance to host a photowalk like this I highly recommend it. It is such a fun time.

This is most of my group for the photowalk!!

One more thing to add here. If you have a minute swing over the Flickr page for our photowalk and have a look at all the awesome images made that day. There is some truly wonderful work there!!
