Hey there, so you want to know a little bit about me? I was born and raised in the mid-Michigan area just south of the state Capitol of Lansing. I picked up my first camera in 2007 as a way to document my oldest child's first trip to Florida. When we returned I realized I was obsessed with shooting photos. Ever since then I have rarely been seen without a camera.

In 2012 I was brought into the OIympus Visionary program and have been a part of it ever since. My role in the program is to represent Olympus Imaging through my photography, through workshops and events that both them and I sponsor. I am now what you might call a "mirrorless evangelist" as I have made the transition to 100% micro fourthirds cameras and no longer own any dSLRs.

My photography focuses primarily on nature and landscapes, but I LOVE to shoot everything. I have always felt that for me personally, limiting myself to a single genre of photography would be going against my love of capturing all the beauty of life. I also shoot some stock photography and have a portfolio on Getty Images which runs the gamut from portraiture to still life to landscapes.

As much as I love landscape and wildlife photography, there is something about the city streets that pulls me in.
